Most gatherings take place outdoors. All participants pledge to do their utmost to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 in the group.
Specifically, we agree to:
- wear a well-fitting KN95 mask or better at all program gatherings;
- stay home from gatherings if we have a recent known exposure to Covid-19 or if one of our household is ill;
- inform the organizer if anyone tests positive for Covid-19 after a program gathering.
Family Meetups
When: Generally Fridays, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., year-round.
Where: Various locations around the Hudson Valley. Most frequently, Ulster and Dutchess counties.
These are free, parent-led and organized activities and field trips. We’ve enjoyed a variety of events, including soccer, charades, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, potlucks and toy swaps. Our gatherings have taken place at local parks, farms, ice rinks, sculpture gardens, and even members’ yards. As a community, we’ve come together to celebrate birthdays, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Pride, spring, and so much more!
All who agree to our safety guidelines are welcome!
